Become a Schuylkill Water Steward!




We are pleased to announce the Spring 2019 Schuylkill Water Stewards training program, which runs March through April, 2019. 

All classes will be held in northern Chester County in the French and Pickering Creek watersheds. Specific locations will be announced soon.

Training dates

1- Saturday, March 16, 2019 - 1:00-5:00pm


2- Saturday, March 30, 2019 - 1:00-5:00pm


3- Saturday, April 6, 2019 - 1:00-5:00pm


4- Saturday, April 13, 2019 - 1:00-5:00pm

5 - Saturday, April 27, 2019 - TBD

If bad weather forces the cancellation of a class, it will be made up on Saturday, May 4.


Volunteers must attend at least 4 of the 5 sessions

Program Fee


All applicants accepted into the program will pay a fee to cover materials.


Standard fee - $100

Member of sponsoring organization - $75

Educator - $50

Master Watershed Steward - $50

Student - $25
